Identity · Constellation
Why do we fly? A livery, a calendar, a toy, and a short animation — built as a single constellation of artifacts inviting travelers to tell their own reasons. Commissioned by Cebu Pacific, painted by Airbus, and landing in Cebu late 2026.
2025 — 2026
Program Design · Co-production
Pairing designers with Cebu artisans during the pandemic to make products for a world that had suddenly lost its tourists. I served as co-creative director.
2020 — 2022
Platform · Co-production
An ongoing co-production platform mapping the artisans and crafters of the Visayan region — book, video series, and directory, built with the makers themselves as co-authors.
2024 — ongoing
Festival · Play
Co-founded Cebu's first children's festival — rooted in traditional Filipino games, with workshops pairing kids with industrial designers to imagine the transportation of the future.
2023
Event · Publishing
Co-founded an event to promote Cebu's storytellers. The zine is the easiest form of publishing, and the results have been wonderful, personal, introspective, and funny in equal measure.
2021
Industrial · Heritage
Led the design of a modern replacement for the traditional Filipino jeepney — navigating the fine line between heritage and modernization.
2022
Residency · Systems
A residency pairing foreign and local creatives to address community problems. Our team designed a vouching system as a form of tourism in Bataan.
2019
Youth · Program
A youth development program for college students, centered around storytelling, design, and making.
2023
Convening · Place
An informal role bringing the right makers into a new retail development. No official title — just the pied piper. What I was really designing was trust.

I'm a researcher and strategist who spends most of my time trying to understand why things are the way they are — and what it would take to change them. My work is slow on purpose. I'm interested in the parts of a problem that don't fit the framework.
Before going independent, I worked with international development organisations, city governments, and private foundations. These days I take on a small number of engagements each year — mostly with organisations facing a question they can't quite articulate yet.
I write because it forces me to find out what I actually think. The case studies here are honest about where ideas changed mid-project, where I was wrong, and what I'd do differently.
